This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, arrange a release or bond, or obtain an official booking record. Contact the office that maintains the information directly.
County Custody and Records
For a current custody question or jail-record routing, begin with the jail. For sheriff public-information or booking-record routing, use the sheriff’s office. The research did not locate published public counter hours, a specific records-unit line, a fee schedule, or a turnaround promise, so ask the receiving office for those details before visiting or sending a request.

A focused request should give a full name, approximate booking date, and known agency or case/booking number. Ask whether the requested booking record or photograph is maintained and releasable, what fee applies, and whether an electronic copy is available. Do not assume that a historical third-party listing establishes current custody or a current photo policy.
Choose the Right Office
Different records have different custodians. The county’s online adult roster and public same-day feed were not verified, so the contact route depends on the question.
- For county custody and intake status, call Clarke County Jail.
- For a sheriff-held booking record or photo request, call the Sheriff’s Department.
- For an arrest incident report, contact the arresting agency. Jackson Police lists (251) 246-4484; Thomasville and Grove Hill publish general city contacts, not verified police-records lines.
- For a case number, court date, or disposition, use the Clarke court site or Alabama’s Just One Look service.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the ADOC inmate search. Federal and immigration custody have separate BOP and ICE locators.
For search-path context, use the county recent arrests hub, the same-day Arrested Today page, or the multi-day Arrest Reports page. A VINE result, where an agency participates, is a notification record rather than a court disposition.
